Hoist brake not holding slips under load I did notice rust build up between band and lining suspecting that may be the issue any thoughts would be appreciated
Are doing bucket work or hook work?How much load? How many parts of line are you running? Running up and lowering fast on the brake should polish the drum up. How good is the lining? Is it adjusted right so you have a good feel on the pedal? Does that machine have power lowering,if so power lower for a while and cover it with the brake.
