T190 charge pressure issues

charge pressure ยท 2023-11-14 20:45

Hello I have a 2009 t190 I purchased with issues. Had a R/H drive failure was replaced along with filters. Would not track on that side but left would. So I replaced all filters used a magnet in tank dug out shavings drained hydraulic tank. New Bobcat fluid, charge pressure would start at 280psi full throttle then drop off as it got closer to temp would shutdown at aprox 240psi with low charge pressure put new charge pressure switch in same thing. Blanked the drives completely 1 at a time with no big change blanked of both brakes no big change pulled engine rebuilt pump and increased pump pressure filled pump inlet lines overfilled hydraulic tank let sit for 24hrs to ensure pump flooded with hydraulics did the start prcedure as per bobcat manual, was better pressure still dropped off. Pulled eng was convinced pump changed pump. Starts out at about 330psi but drops off again till shut down. Pulled break valve apart to make sure not contaminated all good. Working my way through the system. Code on the deluxe panel M0504 M0509 MO514 WHEN i press the light button i get a flickering V8306? Any ideas I would really appreciate it

V8306 sounds like the software version to me. i'd take a look at the charge relief valve in the pump to start with

thanks for responding. when i had pulled the engine i had checked it all seemed good, i had put shims in pressure was at 380 same thing as temp increased it would slowly come down in pressure till shutdown. shims removed with new pump. today i capped off both drives completely, was able to get to 140 hyd temp then it was low enough it shutdown.

sounds like internal leakage in the hydrostats

Is there a way to test it? To be 100% do you mean drive motors or hydrostat pump

youd have tp disconnect the case drain hose from the pump, and measure GPM. im not sure bobcat has a spec for it

Thanks for the help. Pulled engine. Will be pulling hydrostatic pump pulley off would you happen to know the size of the 2 bolts to thread into pulley I don't want to mess it up. Thanks Kevin
