T190 won’t start

blanddan ยท 2017-12-03 10:14

I was running the unit last night and it died. I went out this am to test the battery, reads 12.59, checked fuses all good. Hit light button they try to come on and then drop. No power at the start panel. Any help would be appreciated.

did you try jump starting it ? sounds like the battery took a ****. Just because its shooting almost 13 volts dont mean its good.

start at the battery. next place i'd look is at the mainframe/cab harness connector...

There should be a fusible link right down the line from where the hot post is on battery. Otherwise it seems like a small fuse which is behind where your calf would generally be when sitting in machine.

FWIW bobcat does NOT use a fusible link anywhere. there is a 100A fuse right above the battery. but since you momentarily get power to the panels, the fuse is good. the ONLY time ive seen a 100A mega fuse blow was 1 machine with a dead shorted glow plug , and that ONLY blew the fuse if you let the automatic glow plug cycle start. i highly doubt you have a blown cab fuse... a crappy ground will cause the issue you have....
