Hi, I have a tl26 Takeuchi skid steer. I want to change the hydraulic fluid and the maintenance manual says to use 10W-40 motor oil, but the sticker on the machine says Daphne Super hydraulic fluid 46. Does anyone know which of these is correct? Thanks in advance.
I dunno...my 3 TL150's are all running TO-4 spec 10w hydraulic oil...some have nearly 6k hours on them, with zero oil related issues. Come to think of it, if it calls for hydraulic oil here, it gets the 10w.
My CASE TR320 came from the factory with HY-Tran Ultra, but the manual shows 10w-30 or synthetic 0w-40 motor oils as choices as well. The service tech at my dealer says to run the T0-4 spec mentioned by heymccall.
