I need some help diagnosing a possible coolant switch issue on a 2008 tb235, can someone give me a little help, the water temp gauge wire had broke and we fixed that, however we are not sure if that water switch is working properly and the workshop manual does not have any information on it, we called takeuchi and they did nott have any information how to test this circuit to see if it is functioning properly, it is supposed to shut down the engine and turn a light on, , but when momentarily ground with the tester I have (circuit board tester for automotive use) it does not light the light, or shut the engine off, and disconnecting it does nothing either btw the workshop manual really does leave a lot out, nothing on fuel system, the travel alarm. thanks tom
