Takeuchi TB014 Blade wont raise-please

Joshuabird ยท 2014-04-05 19:17

Just got a new (used) Tacki TB014 mini X . Used it lightly for about 1 hr and the blade stuck in the down position. Tried to adjust the cable in the arm console but it does not appear to do anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Possible causes Valve - spool stuck, cable not actuating spool, section relief jammed Swivel joint - seals blown out Hose - internal jacket failing Cylinder - Piston came off Take the hoses off and put a gauge on the both sides and actuate the blade control and see what happens. Should get atleast 2000

ckeck to make sure the control cable is not broke. it will push, but if broken it will not pull. make sure control cable is moving control valve both ways. good luck

Howdy Sir I will send you some information regarding the lever lock solenoid set up. From your description it would appear that this solenoid may not be working electrically or mechanically. The solenoid has a push button on top of it. If you hold this down it should allow the hydraulics to operate but only while is remains held down. The button maybe hard to press down initially as it seldom ever used so multiple push downs on the button will help free it up especially if its rubber boot is split and moisture has made its way in over time. best of luck in getting your issue sorted and if you need any help just send me a message.
