I started my trackhoe this morning to find the arm movement responding normally. After driving it down my hill, I turned the unit off and when I restarted I saw that I had no movement of the excavator arm. I checked the hydraulic fluid level to find it bone dry and after re-filling I still have no movement. I believe it is caused by an issue in my arm control box. (the right arrow is pointing to it in the photograph.) I usually have to have the box propped forward with shims for the arm to engage but this morning it would respond to nothing. Any recommendations on what to try next? Thanks so much!
The ONLY suggestion I have is to make sure the hyd system is primed. My IHI8j had the hydraulic inlet pipe knocked off, refilled and I too have no arm or cab swing action....
