I have a 2007 Takeuchi TL130 the heater just stop blowing hot air only cold. It was working just quit. Temperature gauge shows normal but no heat going to heater core. Any suggestions.

No heat going to the heater core? The heater hoses are cool? Check the coolant level, water pump belt tightness, heater valve (has to be one somewhere?). And finally remove the heater hoses at the engine and backflush the heater core, this will also prove if the heater valve is open, unless there's a valve on the engine that you just disconnected a hose from. Shouldn't have to worry about plugging on something that new unless it uses swamp water.

The hoses going to heater core appear cool and the core is cool but the radiator hoses are hot. I checked the valve it appears to be open and working. Could the water pump not be working. In a car you can open the radiator cap see the water flowing but this cap and hole is so tiny it is hard to tell. Thanks

Was the valve you checked on the engine, or in the heater itself? What is the temperature control connected to? The water pump could be failed, but that's highly unlikely. If you want to prove it, take both the hoses off at the heater and put them into bucket, start it up and you'll see quick enough

The valve was on the engine block and hooked into the line going to the heater core. The temperature control appears to also be connected to the same line as the valve just further up or closer to the core. Thanks

Turns out it was a air lock. Easy fix once figured out. Thanks for the help

Same issue raider9900, I just bought a TL130 with the same issue that I didn't know about when I test drove it. Can you fill me in a little more on the air lock you found? Where was it locked at and did adding more fluid fix it? Thanks

I just took the hoses off going to heater core blew air through to make sure it was clear going in and out then reattached filled it up and it all worked. Hope that helps.
