TD 15 transmission

Have a late 70's early 80's TD 15 it runs great however when I put it in forward first/second gear it moves in reverse, reverse first gear is reverse, but reverse in third/four is a forward gear, all it doesn't have the pushing power it should, the transmission is fairly new and worked great, then the machine sat for a few years, I changed the filters and checked to make sure the spool valves were free and worked, any help would be awesome. thank you

never seen this one before but it could be your pilot control valve. you can check this by checking the pressures at the f1 f2 r1 r2 ports on top off the range selector valve. you will have to tee in to each one. when in neutral all ports should read 20-35 psi when in 1st forward f1 should read 190 to 200psi and all other ports should be 20-35 psi. do the same for each gear corresponding with the letter and number of the port. hope this makes since. good luck.
