the engine starts and runs ok,but after about 10 min. it shuts down. it will finally start again only to shut down again in about 10 min. more or less. What is causing this?
Probably a blocked fuel line or filters. Usually these old beasts get a lot of crap in the bottom of the tank that will block the line. Take the line off at the pump and blow into it until you here the bubbles in the tank. It will probably block back up eventually but that is where to start. Also open the drain on th bottom of the fuel tank and see if water rust etc. comes out and then clean fuel. Might have to pull the tank if its real. Check the fuel filters too. Steve
