Anyone know if TD7E and TD7G undercarriage is the same? I know engines are different, how about the rest of the power train? Thanks

The very early g's were 6" pitch track chains like the TD7E but they changed to 6-1/2" pitch for most of the mfg duration.

My TD7G is unknown date of manufacture. I had a visit from the owner of a TD7E today. He tells me the entire undercarriage, the blade frame, length of the tractor, torque converter and engine are different. Mine has 16' pads, 6.5" pitch between pins. He thinks the undercarriage including final drives is from the TD8E
