I have a Mustang telehandler made by Gehl The fork tilt is a button on the joy stick they work only part time and I was wondering if anyone has fixed this problem. It happens to quit at the worst times. Thanks for any help

Check your micro switches and the small wires coming from the joy stick. The wires tend to break a lot.

We traced the problem to a control box under the dash when the power out light was on we had forks when it was not on we did not. A local mechanic said try hitting it with a hammer so every time they would go out we would tap on the box and the light would come on and we would have forks we got a new controller from geil and now the light has not went off since but we think we know how to fix it when it does one thing we found out not to do is take apart the joy stick it is like a clock and springs and thing go flying everywhere we did get it back together but it took time and alot of patience. thanks for the help

You may just have a loose wire in the box. I have repaired several solder joints on JLG's like this. Sorry about the stick, ours are just wires and two contained switches.
