We are looking forward to buying a crusher (new machine) mostly for use in concrete recycling, but also for granite or gravel crushing. After months of negotiations (Powerscreen Metrotrack, Metso LT96, Terex and Sandvik) I resumed on the following two machines, which at this point cost exactly the same amount: 1. (my first choice) TEREX FINLAY J1160 / 275 HP, 37.000 kg 2. Sandvik QJ241 / 225 HP, 34.000 kg Both machines equiped with magnet band and side conveyor. Which machine should I choose? Which is more reliable?
Hi, In my experience your best buy is the terex machine. We had the j1175 model used for crushing concrete parts containing steel rebars. The Sandvik machine is not yet established as a reliable or well known machine. A practical advice if you but the terex finlay is to stick with the service program and manual and original oils / filters / spare parts. The after-market parts don't inspire much confidence.
