Just because of the title, this might be a good place to re-post this important bit of information. You're looking at this thread because you read that you need three posts to get past "probationary member" status, and you want to be able to post something right away, right? The forum software only updates member status once per hour. You can test post until you're blue in the face, and unless that update cycle has taken place, you still won't be able to post a new thread. Please, have a little patience and bear with us. It really does help in keeping the place spam free. Thanks. And Welcome to Heavy Equipment Forums. :drinkup

testing for HELP! Hi, I have an orange Willmar Wrangler wheel loader that will not move! Lift and lower hydraulics work fine, power steering is fine, but the machine will NOT move. I removed the "proportioning valve" per the dealer, cleaned it, but no better results. Fluid and filter are clean, all replaced. Dealer is not much help, too old to service, but has a lot of life left. Anyone help? By the way, I'm new, so can't start a new thread! Help?

As of August 29, 2012, the "Probationary Member" status has changed. As can be seen below, the "Probationary" step was mainly intended to prevent spammers from posting threads. What we found was that they'd make posts in existing threads anyway, so it wasn't really achieving its intended purpose, but it was making a lot of legitimate new members jump through unnecessary hoops to get to the required three posts. That three post limit is no longer in effect. A new member should be able to start a thread with their first post. The Probationary Member restrictions remain on Private Messages, Emails, posting of signatures and signature pictures, but those have never been the subject of any confusion or complaint that we're aware of.
