at least the 4810 has a rear mounted winch to undo operator **** ups. I do a lot of steep terrain clearin with my N/H C175 with a rotary cutter i often take my Tak TB 145 as the recovery vehicle when i suspect trouble. I have a JD 350c dozer with 3pl and a 5' slasher that i also use in steep rough country I've put it on its roof twice and had it buried over the tracks in a soak several times the tak always comes to the rescue.

The only time i would ever be facing downhill like that is if i had just backed up it to do a run . I allways work nose up , at least untill i have cleared an area so i can see the obsticles . Starting at the top and going nose first into the unknown will give you grief , a rock or stump or gulley under the scrub will stop you and you have little traction in reverse with the head acting as a counter weight .

down was the only way ,to greasy to go upwards.so if it dont go up it has to go down

Looks to be to wet of conditions for now.Might want to consider waiting until it drys some.Same here rain and more rain coming.Wrong time of the year here for drying. Frozen ground might be the next subject. So since down is down. How's that working for you :drinkupGood luck:usa

Wow normally the ASV's are very light footed especially the 4810. What kind of tracks are on the ASV PT-100? They don't look like the Posi-Track standard track pattern.
