Our ranch has an old cat d5b 3306, 25x series dozer. In the past few months I noticed it seems it doesn't throttle up very well. Barely pulls a hill, with no load on the blade. It used to pull the same hills with no load in 2nd, Under the right side of the hood, there is a cylinder about the size of a bicycle air pump, where the hand throttle, and deaccleration foot pedal tie together, and then an adjustable rid goes to the injector pump. I adjusted the throttle up, and now the deacclerator pedal does not work very well. Does The part that looks like a small cylinder have adjustments on it, or can it wear out, and effect the amount of the throttling and rpms of the engine ? Thanks for the help !
