I have a TL8 purchased at auction, perhaps unwisely, but it is here and what I have, and I have basically no history with it. Upon cleaning it, discovered that the motor is relatively new to the machine (2014 machine, 2021 motor). Motor has about 700 hours, machine about 2800 (indicated). It showed up throwing code 523523:4 and has very, very low power, but starts and runs. It bogs down on just turning, won't go up a hill unless you really crawl, etc. 523523:4 = Break in injector drive circuit [common 1 line or twv 1 and 3 (1st and 4th cylinders) simultaneously. We've validated all common and all live wires, there is some redundancy built in. From the ECU to the injectors, we have validated continuity is working the way it should. Replaced injector 1 because the solenoid was acting a tiny bit funny. 1. Will this code clear upon fix, or is the code 'causing' problems (limp mode, etc). 2. Does this point now to the ECU? That's a big jump but a much easier fix than an injector. 3. Thoughts on sourcing this from Kubota (more common part) or does it need to stay Takeuchi? Thoughts? Thank you for any assistance.
