Tracking and auto idle fault

Dan2303 · 2024-01-08 17:47

Evening all. I have a New Holland kobelco E115SR-1ES 2007 with a couple of issues I could do with some help with. First fault is when auto idle is in use if you operate any function except right hand tracking lever with blade to front auto idle works fine, operate right hand track lever and auto idle won’t close down and still keeps revs up. Next fault Is tracking, put blade into a muck heap and try stall the tracks right hand track will just spin and left hand track will just stall out and not move when operating each track independently if you track in a straight line machine tracks in a straight line but the hydraulic pump sounds under-load and tracking is rather slow in tortoise if you ease off slightly on the left hand track lever the tracks speeds up and is still tracking straight and the pump no longer sounds under load. Any ideas ? Thanks In advance

sounds like your right travel lever is worn out. The poppet is probably getting stuck activating the pressure switch not allowing it to go into idle. when you are straight tracking if your travel lever is not sending pressure to the spools correctly the straight travel spool will try to balance it making one pump try to push both tracks

Good day Any sensor faults? Kind regards Uffex

hello, no there doesn’t seem to be any sensor faults active. I have replaced pressure switch on right hand tracking lever with a pressure Guage and there is no pressure there when tracking lever in neutral position. There is a straight travel solonoid if this was at fault would affects would it have ? Thanks Dan

the first place to start would be track cycle times. lift each track off the ground and time 3 rotations of each track. then compare this will help you isolate an issue to one pump or another. check them in both high and low speed travel
