Hi Cat transmission p/n 8P5956 suit 12g/140g .Is there a Caterpillar part number for the a rebuild kit ,seals/bearings

    Here's where the various gasket kits are used: - 196-3986 - transfer gears & case 118-2423 - transmission oil filter 288-2552 - transmission overhaul kit 139-0683 - transmission planetary assy kit 6V-9214 - trans hyd control 118-2417 - kit appears to have been discontinued. Only available as separate parts. 6V-9216 - kit appears to have been discontinued. Only available as separate parts. 8C-6536 - power train oil lines

    288-2552 appears to be a more complete version of 139-0683. There are only half a dozen O-Rings from the 139-0683 that are not used in the 288-2552. Contents of 6V-9214 are also included in 288-2552.
