I've got a crane to move and I'm looking for some specs on it. It's a Unit 514. Weight,length,width anything that would help. Thanks
I don't have any specs for a 514, but I do for a 614 the model that replaced it so it should be similar and give you an idea. Weight for a 614 crane w/ 25' of boom listed at 25,268#s, add somwhere around 700 if it has a detroit in it, and more if it has an aux. counter weight, or is equipped for a shovel front, and don't forget too add a few pounds for 60+ years of dirt oil & grease stuck to it. Length of the machine is 13'4"+ boom. Width is 8'8" w/ standard 20" shoes. That should give you a rough idea.
