Good day Ben Most machines have what is commonly refered to as a straight line crawler valve this engages when you use your swing or attchments whilst tracking it slows but keeps reasonably straight, its a fair bet your machine has such a valve if you have a hydraulic schematic this can be identified and we can point you inthe correct direction. Kind regards uffex

uffex, thanks for the reply. i do in fact have the complete manual with schematics. Im not sure why this didnt register in my head but i have a travel straight solenoid valve and the straight travel spool in the main control valve. I will look into getting the schematics uploaded on here after work. i checked the pilot pressure at the pump and it was good, adjusted the main pump pressure back within spec and now my biggest problems are the left track seems to die when im travelling and running another function. also i cannot run the left track pedal all the way forward without the engine bogging down. its almost as if its overextending and fighting itself. if i hold it slightly back then the machine travels straight and all is well... until i try to rotate the upper structure of course. thanks, ben

Straight travel solenoid is under the front of the cab accessed from underneath, psv-c will be on the wire tag of straight travel solenoid. This solenoid rarely brings a fault on the screen when faulty. You can swap psv-c solenoid with psv-a solenoid to test. With solenoids swapped machine will track straight if solenoid is faulty but make sure to swap them back and replace psv-c with a new solenoid
