I just bought a old 1988 versatile 936 and would like to find a parts dealer if possible. We have called around with no luck. Any help would be great.
Nearest New Holland dealer should have access to the parts....not sure what availability will be like on that product now though now that them goddam ruskies have bought the firm
You will have to find a Versatile dealer. When Case IH and NH merged to form CNH, they had to divest themselves of the Versatile tractor line in the US. Most Versatile dealers have parts dating back at least 20 years. Some NH dealerships also took on the Versatile line when the split occurred, and they will also have parts. Also check out Abilene Machine. They have great inventory and can save you a bunch of $$$. They have always been quick about getting the parts to me, and are cheaper than the dealerships.
All Stats Ag Parts is another good used parts source.
What parts do you need? A lot of Versitile parts are available at Napa when it comes to drivetrain parts if I'm not mistaken. Try calling Integrated Machinery (623) 386-2798. They are very hung on Versitile Tractors and I am sure they can get you the parts you need drop shipped or they can point you in the right direction.
