Last fall our 04 volvo 140b was working, maybe three quarters throttle when the engine maxed out its Rpms. Operator shut it down, sat a minute and started it back up and hasnt had any issues since. Anyone heard of this.
Good day Sir A couple of instances come to mind - 1 the rack controlling the injection pumps stick root cause water in the fuel - 2 the rack controller has developed an intermittent fault .Issue 1 will develop and become more frequent check your fuel for water.
