Good day everyone! been having challenges with an Asphalt sweeper, the broom should automatically lower itself and begin to sweep when it reaches a set position but its not doing that, even after reaching the sweeping position, there isnt any notification on the cluster saying broom ready as it should in the normal operation. Its bringing 2 error codes which are; 1 slew encoder low error 2 VRef error.
You might want to open a new thread identifying your sweeper conversion as that has nothing to do with Volvo. Perhaps check with the mfr or the upfitter. With the generic information provided, I would check wiring to the swing pot (slew encoder) as they're referring to it. Verify you have 5v reference, a ground and a variable between .5 & 4.5 volts coming out. You may have gotten a pinched wire or pulled out of socket. Good luck

Hi Niza1, sorry I can't help with the problem, but I'd love to know more about the set up, What is it used for? was this a custom one off job? why the tank above the brush, dust suppression?
