Ive purchased a 08 volvo EC210C. The side panels show 210CL, the vin shows 210CE. In searching I'm seeing a 210C and then the 210CL. Whats the difference with the "L"?
Good day The "CL" mostly has a "D" attached reference demolition, "C" = crawler "L"= Long carriage. See attached. Kind regards Uffex
hi Dhutch, what serial number have you got, and i'll let you know what it came out the factory as.
Thanks for the responses. Here's the serial number. VCEC210CE00111151
hi Dhutch attached is the factory build sheet, says you have a long carriage with foldable steps
Sfrs4 Thanks for the info. It's good to know exactly what the machine has.
Hey SFRS4 while your there what about mine, VCEC210CP00111851 Do you have the spec sheet? My manual shows a few different versions, European and North American and all C models, nothing stating CL. I’ve always been unsure of what the differences are. Cheers
hi lagwagon
In the early years , straight and B series you would have a suffix of lc which stood for long carriage. Evidently, in Europe, they like those stubby track frames. Lc is common here on America. With the introduction of the C series they dropped the c for carriage since it became a little redundant. So after that , they became the Cl and Dl and so on.
I have an Volvo ec230b 1994 i have one problem in it . Error code e201 mode selector not working dashboard not working . What is the problem?
You've damaged the I-ECU . With all the info you've provided, that's where we're at. Check fuse 24. Make sure it's good.
Guys, please, STOP piling on this old thread. Open a new thread regarding your concerns with pics of instrument panel and serial numbers when available. This is unfair to everyone who comes after you looking for a solution. Not every problem is the same. Not every 210B is the same.
Where is the loaction of fuse 24 and how it looks
RS window at rear of switch panel or RS armrest.
Under the chair maybe ?
No.
