No hydraulics ..checked following... pump drive ..safety switch under left console.. no codes... engine fine . checked pilot press. 650psi.. checked main 550.. customers operator said the hyd. functions quit like turning off a switch. Pilot line manifold behind the cab , disconnected a couple pilot lines had operator crank machine and work all controls .. nothing. Behind the cab there are some solonoids that the pilot lines go thru could this be stopping the press. If so where do they get there signal or power. THANKS AHEAD

Did you check pilot pressure safety solenoid valve? or relay? I just replaced the coil on EW160 2 hours ago It will be one of the valves on the pilot pressure manifold. Usually there are 3 of them in the row. One is pilot pressure valve. Burt out coil or faulty relay.

The safety lever is a dumb switch, meaning it doesn't pass through any ECUs or anything, it just sends voltage to the safety solenoid. The solenoid just fails open. It happens, then you lose the magnet. If you could post model and serial, I may be able to find the right schematic and illustration to point you in the right direction.

Found the valve and the coil was bad checked power and ground with the arm rest switch and it was good. Ordered coil and installed and everything's good

bottom coil closest to outside turns the pilot pressure to the controls

Good day Those solenoid valves have a mechanical override you can use a tie wrap to force the valve to work. Kind regards Uffex

I tried pushing up on the stem when the coil was still on there but it wouldnt move until after I got the coil off. Had to pry it off as it had swollen and split.

That's pretty common. Either age and heat or moisture and temperature
