Been battling the reasons why engine error message pops up about 5-10 seconds after machine is turned on. See attached photo. What could possibly be the reason for this? The machine otherwise runs with this message beeping at me. John
I should mention the following while the message is beeping at me: -The engine runs good -Seems as if the power derated - After numerous starts and stops after message pops up the message disappeared before and now it comes back all the time - There is no error codes on the display im the message system after engine turned off and machine powered on but not started Thanks John
You say there are no errors in the messages. Are you checking in the service menu? That was a concern in the C series that some faults wouldn't log and the only way to see what was going on was to have the service tool hooked up to see what was going on when the fault occurred. I suggest entering service mode, pull up engine sensors. Look at coolant temp, oil pressure, etc. See if any values are dropping off or unrealistic. It's telling you that the fault lies in the engine but it is not saying fuel system failure which is really good news. Let us know what you find. Good luck
