Is a Volvo EW200B wheeled excavator capable of driving up a long 250 meter logging road/trail with a 35% grade?Any tips on navigating something like this would be great. My gut says stick fully extended up hill my concern is spinning out and losing control downhill
Good day CWK As no doubt you are aware, the EW machines are intended for hard surface environment, off-road use as with most wheeled excavators have very limited capabilities. There are some very special machines normally used in the forestry environment that can adapt to extraordinary circumstances, however checking the specification which omits any gradability figures. Sorry, this is nor more helpful. Kind regards Uffex
Thanks tried it and lost traction quarter way up and called it quits.A few years back we had a couple of old Kaiser turbo stars walking excavaters that could get almost anywhere if you had a lot of time to get there and were ok to make a mess getting there lol
