Hey everyone I have a l70e that is showing a fault on the dash amber warning error is.” Accelerator pedal no back-up function “ machine runs and operates as it should all functions work properly. Any ideas? I don’t work on volvos very often. oh and I hooked laptop to it shows no fault codes on laptop. Thanks for any input.
Pivot of throttle pedal most likely worn out. As as result the machine sees a start up calue higher or lower than it should see, its probably in conflict with the idle validation signal.
Either rebuild the treadle or replace assembly with new.
How did things work out, or are you still working on it?
