help! parked 4 yrs. , then started my warner swasey 550 hoe and when i rotated cab the air lines on the bottom end broke off, evidently the post with the airline outlets in it did not 'freewheel or ?? it seems to me one should be able to grab that post and turn it free and easy by hand, there just can't be anyway that thing is not movable? i've filled it with kroil for 2 days, it's still froze............it is stuck or what??
Air lines? Is this truck mounted? If it has air lines, you probably have a lot of rust in the swivel in the air ports, especially if you let it sit 4 years. I doubt it will turn by hand, you need more leverage than that, but it shouldn't be frozen. Good luck.....
RE frozen post thanks for the response about the frozen swivel post........... i am now an authority on that little.............'thing'............ it works well now, in fact, i used 8 tubes of grease on this machine today!
