This Scraper ran fine a few months ago, but it has been parked for a few months. Thought we had a battery problem, replaced all batteries and still not able to get it in gear.
Depending on s/n you need to check the solenoids are getting a signal from the brain (ECM) telling it to engage the gear you are selecting, that would be my starting point.
Check to see if the lights on the rear ecu are lighting up properly the sequence should be on the ecu. If they arent check the rotaty switch at the front transmission for moisture. They do funny things when they get wet
Does it make any type of sound when you move the gear lever from neutral to 1,2,3..etc or reverse? If not does the lever feel looser than it normally would?
if you have another of the same scrapers around quickly swap out the gear selector pick up box below the shifter, 9 times out of ten i find is the problem if it wont go into gear at all. If it is only moving in first look at your speed sensor and the plug.
