A local contractor is retiring, we are considering buying him out. He's asking $250,000, everything he has runs and is consistently being worked (no broke down junk here, but some of it is pretty old). This is not an advertised sale, he approached us to see if we are interested.     seems to good to be true dont it, we are going for it, just wanted to put it up see the response. Like I said, alot of the gear is pretty old, but it is well maintained, everything running and out on different jobs everyday

    solid old gear beats the payments on new anyday, and it's usually cheaper to repair, too

    35. 2 acres of land in ......... This is something in itself. Land is worth money. Another question is: Are you getting clients? 250 big ones is a pile of cash but do you want your competitors to get this?

    great deal. just make sure the mechainic will be staying for awhile. not being sarcastic, just that older iron needs t.l.c. that is an amazing deal. i would'nt think twice if i had the money. i don't know where it is but heck who cares. and you get all of the clients?

    Looks like a good deal. Snow clearing contracts are out now. However be aware nl government are not that good paymasters. Them old 950s are bullet proof
