Hi there, i have a Cat / mitsubishi ms040-8 digger machine and was wondering what weight hydro oil i should be putting in. some people i talk to say 10w and others say in older machines ( 1986 ) i should be using 30w anyone shed some light for me. thanks:
Age of the machine should not make a difference on what oil weight to use its all about the temperature where machine works . spec is -4 to +104 degrees F 10w is recommended . +50 to +122 degrees F 30w
