Hi all. just roaded my skytrak 10054 down a four-mile stretch of dirt road. Leaking fluid now from the front wheel joint housing. What seal should I order? the shaft seal? Also what fluid is being leaked out? Differential, wheel end, or hydraulic fluid? thanks for any help
Its more than likely the axle shaft seal....and you possibly have a thrust bearing failure under the lower trunnion cap which knocked out the seal. It should be a 90 wt type of gear oil if I remember correctly
Are you referring to parts three and four in the diagram?
