Which company makes the biggest skid loader?

Just curious what the biggest skid loader out there is, in terms of frame size and HP? Seems like Mustang and John Deere makes some of the biggies. Jeepwalker

Right now the 850 Bobcat is the biggest though the gehl/mustang is heavier by a few pounds. HP and and frame size aren't indicative of the "biggest" anymore. CAT's new D series 272 will have a 110 hp option but the machine is only the size of a 770 M series Bobcat that only makes 92 hp.

At this current time, most everyone is mid 90's hp and frame size I guess if your measuring from front to back, I would guess the Gehl 7810 appears the largest machine physically speaking.

techinaclly the largest skid steer award goes to mister R.G. Letourneau, for his work with the tournadozer series.... but currently I belive it to be a Gehl 7810

Right now BC is the lift height champ by a few inches over Gehl. I would like to hear some feedback on the new big (wheeled) machine.

Thats the thing there are numerous ways to "size" a skid steer. Be that by HP, Torque, hyd hp, ROC with or without all available counterweight, lift height, or physical size.

largest physical size i've ever seen was bobcat's 974/975 all the oem's have been cutting back on HP to stay under the 100hp emmssions levels. rumor is the new T4 engines will be unleashed to their full potential :drinkup

And carry an additional price tag of $6-8K...

sadly true but the OEM isnt just gonna magically make another $5k on every machine sold. machine cost from the manufacturer to the dealer is going up that much. rumor has it to us as a dealer, we're gonna have to purchase the OEM engine software @ $1K per copy. lot of small dealerships are gonna have to upgrade service laptops and PC's to add new software. i just had my laptop replaced, i was outta hard drive space on my old one. :drinkup
