Alright i bought a 2001 new holland LS180 skid steer with 1169 hours on it, got it home ran it a little and now i've got fluid running out of the bottom rear plate on it. i rasied the seat checking all the fluids and found a dip stick in between the drive motors, above the dip stick it says 80 w 90. I pulled the dip stick out and fluid ran out like it was overfull. anyone know what could be going on here? machine was just serviced. thanks for any and all help!

The hyd. pumps that connect to the gear box are leaking oil pass the shaft seal and over filling the gear box. The pumps will have to be removed and resealed.

thanks for the reply any idea of how big of a job this will be? or any way to tell what side the seal that needs to be fixed is on?

It would be best to tilt the cab. The dealer has a tool for tilting the cab. It can be done with out the tool with a forklift or hoist but be very careful when it break over center, you need some way to stop it from going over to far. Once cab it tilted over it pretty easy to remove the pumps. Very hard to know which one is leaking. But if one is leaking the other can't be far behind.

Go to newholland.com, to construction, then to parts. Type your model number and then you can look up parts for free.
