My D6 R will go into a turn and stop turning either direction and then it might work fine has good power and runs good backwards and forwards. Any thing that i could check to keep from calling cat?
Is it Finger Tip control or Diff Steer? If it's finger tip could be a damaged harness and would set a code. Later Bob
Diff Steer and its like its going in out or intermittent during a turn is there a relay are something?
Ouch! Check your hyd filters, intermittent sounds like contamination. Later Bob
when at a idle it turns all most perfect and running wide open it trys and stops trys and stops

Check the wires and connections at the bottom of the tiller handle shaft .ihave seen them break there and cause intermitant problems like that.
is this one wire controlled? I thought most the tiller handle eventually connected to the main spool valve via linkage? lets see works fine at idle and works less fine at high idle? do the rest of the hydros work fine? lift the blade all the way up and hold it up while turning at high idle! does it steer better? .......TIO
The wires that go to the shift solinoids are likely the ones broken .When you move the tiller handle it loses connection and transmission goes to neutral.
