    Any Codes? Active? Logged?

Have you got it up on stands to do the brake callibration first? Later Bob

If you're using the latest version of ET it shouldn't be hard to figure out if there are any Codes, either Active or Logged. Suggest you do a Product Status Report before erasing any Logged Codes. It's always a good thing to see what you had previously. Interesting that the Service Manual T&A procedure says " Note: If a calibration fails when you use Cat ET, try performing the same calibration by using the Cat Monitoring System ." To do that you would need a 4C-8195 Service Tool aka "Click Box".

Bob, From the Service Manual ref brake calibration & touch-up pressures. Note: The procedure can be performed with the track on the ground. If these procedures are performed with the machine on the ground, the ground surface should be hard and level. I'll be honest and admit I've never done it that way, always raised the machine up on the blade & ripper.

it will do the brake touch up it is just when I get to the last item steering/brakes pressure setting it says ecm cannot read or doesn't have capability to do this function. the ecm is also updated to current flash files by finning

and there are no codes present and pressure numbers all come up on status report

How do the pressure numbers stated on the PSR stack up when compared to specification..? Did the problem exist before the Powertrain ECM Flash File was updated and/or was the updating of the FF an attempt to get the brakes to calibrate..? Were all the FF on the tractor updated at the same time..? Often failing to update 1 ECM can cause all sorts of weird problems with other ECMs.

only has trans ecm and yes the problem came up b4 the flash file update

the trouble turned out to be the 2013 et I tried the shop[ 2012 and it calibrated fine I did find 2 bare wires one rubbing on a homemade fan blade turning tool

Not the first time that a machine with let's say "older" Flash Files in it refuses to calibrate using the latest version of ET. Probably won't be the last either.
