10K D6c vs. 76A

What's the major difference between a 10K & 76A? Different engine? There is a 76A at an auction this weekend and it got me wondering what the differences were.. It's a power shift, straight blade w/tilt....essentially the same as my 10K.

    The 76A's are all D333T's with 4-1/2" bore. 10K's are D333CT's to s/n 10K7952 then become 3306's all 4-3/4" bore

early 10k had no turbo and was a dog. later ones had turbo motor and weighed several tons more than the old 76a, ran very well. still, the 10K had air to air cooler on trans which wasn't good enough, but better than the 76a. d's had boosted clutches, water jacket trans cooler which was a lot better, motor was practically the same just changed name to 3306, later ones had direct injection. this is a nice tractor overall.

oldirt is correct, early 10K's did not get turbo until 10K5984. Forgot that bit.
