Had a client ask the question what is the difference between VHP and VHP plus on the 140 M motor grader, to be honest I have no idea? ? Anyone crossed this path before?
Thought it was something to do with more power in certain gears??? Not sure thou
140M Series I was available in both VHP & VHP Plus configurations. there was no "base" machine specification. VHP started with a basic 183 nett BHP in 1st speed forward ramping up to 188 in 2nd, 203 in 3rd, and 208 in 4th-8th speeds. VHP Plus had the same BHP in 1st-4th speeds forward but the BHP increased to 213 in 5th, 218 in 6th, and 233 in 7th-8th speeds forward. 140M Series II is only now available in a Base machine spec that has 193BHP available in all 8 forward speeds and VHP Plus where the power varies incrementally from 193BHP in 1st speed forward to 243BHP in 8th speed forward. Basically the Series II machine has 10BHP more than the Series I machine in each gear.
