I just replaced the final drive and called Deere to see if my excavator has a filter on the case drain. I looked in the prints and haven't found one. Iv also looked online and haven't came up with anything. Does it have one and if so where will it be located? The Vin is FF160CX045347. Thanks!
I think I answered my own question I found a thread on a Hitachi and someone said that they didn't have case drain filters.
You are correct, no case drain filters on that machine. What happened to the final drive, hydraulic motor failure ?
