1825 case skidsteer start problems

1825 case skid steer nissan gas engine. When igniton switch is engaged to start position motor runs but if I let off key the engine dies. Where to start? Most likely fix. Thanks for any help. Swinedad

Key switch or relay.

Sounds like the key switch has a contact breaking down in it. If not that, then solenoid or relay, wherever the hot for the ignition is picked up...

I would do a key switch first also.

No start Look at the safety switches, seat belt, bar, and all the fuses, look in the book if you can,t find them. Lazerdan

one thing more, on machines that get a lot of vibration and hit lots of bumps, if you do not have 3 lbs of other keys, and misc junk, the switches last longer...:drinkup
