I have a 1845c Case skidder and the throttle is wide open and I the lever/linkage doesn't slow it down. I have taken the throttle assembly apart and cleaned/oiled it. Am I overlooking something?
Bossross, Take the throttle cable loose from the lever on the injection pump and see if the shaft is stuck open on the injection pump. That way you can isolate the problem to the injection pump or the throttle cable. My tractor will not idle back like it should. I thought it was the cable. I finally isolated the problem to the throttle shaft on the injection pump not closing all the way. Injector people say it is probably a worn o-ring on the throttle shaft. Tim
