have a 1985 jd 410b stanadyne pump i think the pump is a #RE57105 dosens of offers for parts but the ones i have ordered don't fit. it had a short selonid and all the new ones every one sales and should replace are two tall and can someone help with a no. can you tell me what no. should i look for incase the pump has ben replaced.

For sure RE57105 is not the original injection pump. Deere shows no parts breakdown for that pump. thepumpguysc will have to help with that one
A picture of the information plate on that pump is worth a thousand words.
yes got DB2435 5143, 8939396, RE57105, s/n 41230 i will get a pic. when it quits raining. some info about machining top for newer solenoid you get info after buying new part.
All the Stanadyne solenoids r the same.. they increased the size.. it’ll work.. Put on new insulators, red or brown.. then new insulator washers on top..

Ta-Da.. I use a little Vasoline on the insulators to help “glide” them thru the cover.. Any questions just fire away.
