Thats a nice looking loader dalemurphy. After viewing your other threads on the loader my memory was jogged. We actually had two of those loaders in my area, one was my customer who used his for loading logs & various other tasks around the farm and the other was at a junk yard where they used it to load out scrap iron.Niether loader had any kind of cab or rops protection. The owner of the junk yard was injured pretty bad in a rollover accident with his loader. They were moving it on the road to a job and the brakes dident work on it,it popped out of gear on a long steep hill and got out of controll.I would have thought Hough would have made quite a few loaders of this type but I have know idea of the numbers.Im sure they are a rare find today as most have went to the scrap yard.I havent seen one in years.

We have a 1948 Hough HMD 90309D that just stopped working this last spring. It overheated and a piston got hot. Does not run at this time. We are thinking of scraping it but wanted to check if there are collectors out there interested in the 1948 year Hough payloader. I have pictures and if you know of anyone interested please email me or if you know of places to post it for possible people interested please email me. My email address is [email protected] . Phone No. 715-748-3587.
