Assuming the below TLB is as advertised, is the price reasonable or what kind of an insulting offer should be made? Is there any "blue book" for backhoes? Don't think I can scrape 19K but I have 13K, is that crazy insulting? Most importantly...what is the best way to make sure an older TLB actually has 2675 hours on it and not 12675 hours? Is it common for TLB owners to change out hour meters to be dishonest about the number of hours on a machine? While not in sales and up to date on TLB prices I would think that that man's asking price for a machine that is ready to work as you describe is extremely fair. Well, FlyingFrog, it is a 15 year old backhoe and with 2675 hrs that would be less than 180 hrs a year ?? it maybe true but have u seen the machine in person ?? and i would make a offer and all he can say is no and counter offer ?? Well good luck and let us see some pics lol
