Finding a new TC would be next to impossible. How do you know it is the TC and not to transmission steels and clutches? My best guess of splitting that tractor would be about $3000. If it is the TC you would then need to find a competent rebuilder that knows the specs on that converter. Not to be done by just anyone! That will probably add another $700-1000. Good luck.

Usually when the power reversing transmission goes out they’re usually replaced with a manual crash box from a Ford 4000, 445 or a 545. I can’t help with a quote but it’s going to take about 16hrs start to finish to rip and replace. The last time I looked for a TC was a few years ago and it was over $2k.

As noted, Joseph Industries is a reputable T/C rebuilder. You can buy direct or from one of their resellers. As for cost, you'd better find someone who knows what they're doing or you'll be redoing it at least once. Not sure why you're fixated on the T/C. SOP is dig through the shuttle replacing seals, gaskets and worn parts, and install a new T/C and flex plate on the way out. If the T/C is really your only problem, you still want to tear the shuttle down so you don't have to do it later.
