I have a friend that has a 500C and has just broken some components. He is looking for an outer housing and bullgear. Anyone have any ideas on where to get some good used parts for this machine? Thanks
try posting over here..... http://www.redpowermagazine.com .....under the construction equipment heading.......all IH stuff. i have a 500E which is a few years newer than your friends. the bullgear you will find on eBay and other places but the final drive housing is gonna be a little tougher. do a search on google for IH 500C parts and follow the leads. which side do you need and i'll keep my ear to the ground. Try machinerytrader.com and go to the parts section. Lots of things there for all makes and models of just about everything.
Try tractorparts.com also.
