1978 Komatsu D31s16 was working fine then when I went from reverse to forward nothing happened for about 3 sec but I could hear something like a pump or clutch trying to engage. Then it slowly started moving but no forward progress when I tried to turn . Went to reverse and same thing happened. Shut it down and checked the fluid. It was maybe 3 quarts low so added fluid. Started it back up after about 20 minutes of shut down and everything seemed ok for about 3 minutes. Then suddenly again nothing. Shut down and took off floor panels to look at hoses, linkage etc. Checked fluid and still ok. Started after about 20 minute shutdown and again everything seemed ok for about 3 minutes, then nothing. Any ideas?
