I have a 1980 case 580b i need to change the oil seal. i have all six bolts out and the cover still wont come off the brake cover. Will the shift collar just slide off the shaft.
should come right off did ya try hitting it gently ?
Those things tend to stick after time. Try getting a prybar in behind collar. Don't let it hit you in the face when it pops off.
